I've come to Leeds for Uni, and whilst looking about for stuff to do I thought I'd check out the local wargaming scene.

I myself haven't gamed for a good few years; back then I used to mainly play LotR SBG and dabbled in some 40k.

Alas, I haven't got my miniatures up with me though, so I'm considering how to get around that particular hurdle atm.

One thing that interested me was getting involved in a game not involving many miniatures; namely I was looking at the more RP based games. I'm not sure if you guys play these, but aye.

I might pop along to have a look anyway.

Hello welcome to the club and forums.

There are sproadic roleplay sessions. Usually played on the top floor. You've probably already seen the RP section of the forums. There are aslo quite a few Skirmish level games played so hopefuly we'll be able to find something.

Welcome to Leeds. I arrived for University about 23 years ago....

We also have an active BloodBowl league, which you can get into quite cheaply.

The club has some Fantasy Armies, for anyone to use.

And most folk in the club play more than 1 army and would be happy to supply their own opposition, especially if you are just getting back into the game.
Several people also play Infinity, Hordes and Heroclix, all of which have a lower model count.
Just come along and I'm sure you will find something that interests you.

Ian
